We design and lead workshops.

We utilize visual aids, including diagrams, charts, mind maps, and drawings, during meetings, workshops, or brainstorming sessions to enhance understanding, stimulate creativity, and facilitate problem-solving. This is a holistic approach to turning every participant into an active, engaged creator.

Visual

note-taking

Peter Durand, founder of Alphachimp LLC, is wearing a cap and glasses. He is using graphic recording to create visual notes on a large board with illustrations and text related to AI at a conference.

We document live discussions and presentations.

Also known as “visual notes” or “scribing,” graphic recording involves creating visual summaries of meetings, presentations, or discussions in large-scale illustrations or digital images. This service is perfect for online and in-person workshops and conferences.

In today’s information-saturated world, teams often struggle to stay aligned.

Alphachimp solves this by translating spoken ideas into real-time visualssketchnotes, infographics, and live illustrations that spark insight and improve decision-making.

Founded in 1998 by visual facilitator Peter Durand, Alphachimp has supported clients including Fortune 500 firms, universities, and nonprofit organizations. Services include:

  • Graphic Recording: Capturing events and meetings through live illustration.

  • Digital Graphic Recording: Visualizing virtual and hybrid meetings using tablets and streaming platforms.

  • Workshop Facilitation: Guiding teams through design thinking, innovation mapping, and strategy visualization.

  • Explainer Videos and Animated Whiteboards:

Each project produces a visual artifact—a powerful summary that enhances memory, engagement, and alignment long after the meeting ends.

Alphachimp also offers visual note-taking workshops for educators and professionals who seek to enhance comprehension and creativity. These programs enable teachers and facilitators to utilize visual learning to support literacy, critical thinking, and collaboration across diverse cultures and languages.

The result? A shared visual language that turns abstract strategy into actionable understanding—helping organizations see what they think, understand what they imagine, and act on what they create.
